An Unforgettable Evening at ‘Himig ng Batangan

I was honored to be invited by the husband-and-wife duo, Rachelle Gerodias and Byeong In Park, to attend the concert “Himig ng Batangan: Mga Awitin ng Ating Lahi.”

The performance took place on November 29, 2025, at the Manuela Q. Pastor Auditorium in St. Bridget College, Batangas City.

The program featured a wonderful lineup, including soprano Rachelle Gerodias, baritone Byeong In Park, pianist Jude Areopagita, and the choir Tinig Kayumanggi.

It was a deeply moving concert that celebrated the beauty of Filipino music and culture.

I felt truly grateful to witness such heartfelt performances and to experience this special event through the kindness of the Gerodias–Park family.
